Most of the monsters in the game can be captured. There are a few points to note for capturing of pets:

1. Evolved pets cannot be captured. For example, Rusty Mantis can be captured, but its evolved form, Copper Mantis cannot.
2. To capture pets, a Pet Catcher is required. There are different grades available: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. One Pet Catcher will be consumed during each attempt, be it successful or not. And the Pet Catcher has to be placed inside the Pet Inventory before it can be used.
3. Other than the Pet Catcher, you also need to equip the corresponding Pet Catching Skill on the pet.
4. Pet Catchers and its Skill Cards can be purchased from Pet Collectors and Skill Item Merchants of each town. The skill (Pet Forest Gold) cards can also be upgraded using Card Upgrade Jewels to greatly increase the success rate of capturing pets.

Pet Dormitory
When we have more than one pet to train, we can keep the rest into the Pet Dormitory to increase their growth points. There are a few things to note before putting pets into the dormitory.

There are three types of diets available – Meat, Vegetable and Cuisine. You have to put them in the dormitory according to the diet of the pet, – Carnivore Dormitory, Herbivore Dormitory, Cuisine Dormitory.

An activated pet cannot be kept in the dormitory. The same goes for those that are stored in the pet warehouse.

The pet in the dormitory will auto-consume the food that we deposit in the dormitory and gain growth points. If there is no food remaining in the dormitory (No food deposited or supplies used up),(Pet Forest Gold) the pet's growth point will not increase.

Each dormitory can only hold one pet at a time.

Usage of the pet dormitory is simple. All you need to do is to enter your Miniland and select the dormitory. Next, select the pet and click . Your pet will then enter the dormitory. However, do remember to deposit sufficient food.

Pet Warehouse
In Monster Forest, each player can carry a maximum of three pets at the same time. When you have more than three pets, you can choose to store the rest into the Pet Warehouse.

It is very easy to keep your pet into the warehouse. Just click on the [Place in Warehouse] button in the pet list at the left hand side. Your pet will be transferred into the warehouse immediately.

To retrieve your pet from the warehouse, the player has to visit the Pet Warehouse Keeper available at various towns.
